AGENTLINK UPDATE # 10 --- 10 November 1998 This is the email newsletter of AgentLink -- Europe's Network of Excellence for Agent-based Computing. The AgentLink WWW site is http://www.AgentLink.org/ IMPORTANT: Please take the time to ensure that every member of your group receives a copy of the AgentLink update. If you have a group mail alias, why not ask for this alias to be added to the AgentLink update list? To add someone to this mailing list (not necessarily a member of AgentLink), just send a request to mailto:coordinator@AgentLink.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Contents: * AgentLink Newsletter issue 1 available now * AgentLink support for travel to MAAMAW * AgentLink continuation & strategic planning ---------------------------------------------------------------------- * AgentLink Newsletter issue 1 available now The first issue of the AgentLink newsletter is now available. The newsletter is a professionally typeset magazine, containing features and articles of interest to AgentLink members. (In case you were wondering, this email update list is *not* the AgentLink newsletter!) Note that *all* AgentLink members will receive printed copies of the newsletter by post (expect them soon). It is also freely available in PDF format from the AgentLink WWW site -- follow the sidebar link to "newsletter", and then to "issue 1". If you would like to contribute an article to subsequent editions of the newsletter, you can find out how from the "newsletter" page of the AgentLink WWW site. Its a quick and easy route to publicise your group, project, product, or research -- so why not write something? We are also keen to print opinion pieces -- anything except "what is an agent" is welcome... We are interested to hear your suggestions for strategic directions that AgentLink should go in: What should we do that we are not currently doing? What are the important topics for agent R&D that we are currently ignoring? Let us know. You can email the network coordinator directly at mailto:M.J.Wooldridge@elec.qmw.ac.uk.
