Agentlink is organising the Fourth European Agent Systems Summer
School in Bologna, Italy 8-12 July, 2002, the week before the First
International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems.

Sponsored by Whitestein Technologies, IFMAS, FIPA, Agent Oriented
Software and Lost Wax, EASSS 2002 will consist of a mixture of
introductory and advanced courses delivered by internationally leading
experts in the MAS field, and will cover the full range of theoretical
and practical aspects of agent-based computing.

It is open to anyone from research or industry, both AgentLink members
and non-members alike.

Registration will be possible on site, but in cash only.

* Sixth Framework Programme Web Area and Expressions of Interest

In advance of the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme
(FP6), AgentLink is keen to support efforts to raise awareness of the
available opportunities, and to publicise Expressions of Interest that
have been submitted in the area of agent technology.

A new area on the AgentLink website has been set up with information
on FP6, and this will be added to over time.
