Description

As the world's largest IT research organization, IBM Research produces more breakthroughs than any company in the industry-averaging 7 patents a day. Despite our size, we maintain an environment that nurtures some of the most innovative thinkers in the world.

Over 600 individuals work at the IBM Haifa Labs; 25 percent of the technical staff have doctorate degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related fields. Employees are actively involved in teaching at Israeli higher education institutions and supervising post-graduate theses. Many employees have received IBM awards for achievements and excellence.

The IBM Haifa Labs include the Research Lab in Haifa (HRL), the Haifa Development Lab (HDL), and the Haifa Software Lab (HSL) in Rehovot.
