France Telecom R&D (i.e. the resarch part of France Telecom) works on a technology aimed at developing intelligent agents (ARTIMIS technology) that can engage in interactions with users or other agents based on the FIPA standard (FIPA-ACL, the Agent Communication Language adopted by FIPA, comes from this work).
This technology directly implements the formal semantics of the FIPA-ACL and FIPA
