Description

At the Institut fuer Informatik, several groups at different chairs are working in the agents and multiagents area, including the Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS) Group headed by Michael Beetz (http://www9.in.tum.de/research/ias/) and the AI/Cognition Group (http://wwwbrauer.informatik.tu-muenchen.de/gruppen/kikog/general.shtml) headed by Gerhard Weiss. The spectrum of agent-related topics treated in these two groups covers, e.g., agent-oriented software engineering, multiagent machine learning, ontology design and communication semantics, electronic auctioning, automated conflict resolution, computational autonomy, and intelligent robotics.

The members of these groups have published extensively on agent-related themes in the past years (most publications are available online via the two above mentioned Webpages and their subpages). For instance, below is the list of publications in 2004 by the person serving as the point of contact (i.e., Gerhard Weiss).
