Description

ISRI is a department within the School of Computer Science. The department has a number of faculty actively enganged in agent research. In particular:

Norman Sadeh directs projects in the area of:
-Agents, Pervasive Computing and Privacy (e.g. MyCampus project http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~sadeh/mycampus.htm) and agents & Mobile Commerce (http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~sadeh/mobilecomm.htm)

-Agent-based Supply Chain Management (http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~sadeh/supplychain.htm)
This has included the design and launch of the Supply Chain Trading Agent Competition (TAC-SCM), which was collocated with AAMAS04 this past summer. This involved an ongoing collaboration with the Swedish Inst. of Comp. Science (SICS).
