Agentcities
is a new initiative aiming to build a worldwide, publically accessible, test bed for the deployment of FIPA Agent based services.

Artificial Intelligence Web Site

CLIMATE
CLIMATE is a pool of projects within the European Union collaborative research and development programme on Advanced Communications Technologies and Services (ACTS). Most of these projects are located within Domain V: Service Engineering, Security and Communications Management. CLIMATE is supported by the ACTS project DIFFERENCE II. The CLIMATE web site is hosted and maintained by the ACTS project MIAMI at the FOKUS GMD competence center IMA-CC.

EUTIST-AMI is a cluster of take-up measures, dedicated to Agents and Middleware technologies, partially funded by the European Commissions IST (Information Society Technologies) Research Programme.

FIPA is a non-profit organisation aimed at producing standards for the interoperation of heterogeneous software agents. Existing implementations of FIPA specifications may be found here.

IST
IST (Information Society Technologies Programme, is the funding programme that supports AgentLink II.It is also a single, integrated research programme that builds IST represents a major theme of research and technological development within the European Union's Fifth RTD Framework Programme (1998-2002)

The JADE-Board is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of promoting the evolution and the adoption of JADE by the mobile telecommunications industry as a java-based de-facto standard middleware for agent-based applications in the mobile personal communication sector.

LIPS University of Texas at Austin
The Laboratory for Intelligent Processes and Systems at The University of Texas at Austin has constructed a web site for information exchange.


Network of Excellence
This site is the main site for ESPRIT "Networks of Excellence", of which AgentLink is one. You can find links to all other NoE's there.

ObjectWeb is an open-source software community whose main goal is the development of open-source distributed middleware, in the form of flexible and adaptable components.
